Latest News   6/11/2007 2007 Reunion Update   7406 Support Squadron 2007 Reunion Update   The 7406 Support Squadron's 2007 reunion in San Diego attracted 42 persons at the Holiday Inn Bayside May 24-26. Some attendees arrived a day early to do some sightseeing before the evening reception around poolside on Thursday, Day 1. Manny Cruz(1961-64)hosted the reunion and reported that enough money was collected to help finance the next reunion in 2009 in Boston. David (Charley) Brown has agreed to host that event. Reunion attendees found delicious breakfasts at the Holiday Inn restaurant, smart drinks at the in-house bar and a lot of attractions away from the hotel. Some visited the Midway Carrier Museum docked permanently along the Downtown San Diego harbor. Others visited museums in Balboa Park and visited the nearby San Diego Zoo. Some of the more adventurous went nightclubbingin San Diego's swinging Gaslamp Quarter, a hotbed of stylish restaurants, clubs, theaters and bars. The hospitality room was well attended during the three-day reunion, which ended with a Hawaiian-themed dinner.
